Something about my record is wrong — how do I fix it?

It depends where the detail came from. Anything you add or edit yourself is fixed by claiming your profile and editing it. Anything drawn from The State Bar of California's roll — your name, bar number, status, admission date — is corrected at the source, because the registry publishes that record rather than owning it.

  1. Claim your profile if you have not already; it is free and verifies you against your bar number.
  2. Edit the fields you control directly from your dashboard.
  3. For anything that comes from the official roll, correct it with the regulator — the registry follows the roll when it updates.

If a record is wrong in a way you cannot fix either way, write to info@californiaattorneyregistry.com. A person handles record disputes; they are not automated, on purpose.
