What are all these attorney and practice pages?
They are views of the same public record, cut different ways: by practice area (20 of them), by county (58), by city, by law firm, by law school, and by the languages an attorney speaks. Nobody is placed on them by hand.
Every page is generated from the official roll and from what attorneys have added to their own claimed profiles. The order within a page is neutral, and paid placement appears only in a band that says so.
A certified-specialist page lists attorneys holding a State Bar certification in that field. That is a fact of record, not an opinion about their work.
