Where the data comes fromUsing the registry

Why is there so little on some attorneys' pages?

Because a record starts as whatever The State Bar of California's roll holds, and only grows when the attorney claims it and adds to it. A thin page means nobody has claimed it yet — not that the attorney is less established, and not that anything has been withheld.

Claiming is free, so a full page and a bare one differ by whether somebody has got round to it rather than by what they paid.
