Is this the State Bar? Who runs this site?
No. California Attorney Registry is an independent publisher, not a government body and not part of The State Bar of California. It publishes the regulator's public licence roll and says so on every page. The regulator's own site is https://apps.calbar.ca.gov.
Nothing here carries regulatory authority. The registry cannot discipline an attorney, cannot change a licence, and cannot speak for The State Bar of California. What it does is make the public record easier to search than the source makes it.
When a detail differs between this site and the regulator's, the regulator is right. The registry follows the roll rather than the other way round.
