How do I use CAR to find assistance resources?
Open the resource hub, choose a county guide or the official statewide locator, and contact the provider directly using its published instructions. Check its service area, case types and current intake arrangements. Browsing resources is free and separate from CAR Case Review; you do not need to submit a matter.
Legal-aid programs set their own income, location and case-type rules. Capacity can be limited. Only the provider can decide eligibility and whether to accept a matter.
Do not put private case details into help questions. Use the provider's own intake process.
