Where do the things I am asked to confirm come from?
From public sources such as your firm's website, and each card links to where it was found. Nothing found this way appears on your public profile until you confirm it. Choosing No keeps it unpublished and stops it being suggested again, which is also how you correct something that was never yours.
- Open your dashboard and find the Your profile section, above the editor.
- Follow the link under a card if you want to see where the detail came from.
- Choose Yes to publish it, or No to keep it unpublished and stop it returning.
Saying No is as useful to the registry as saying Yes; it is how a wrong detail gets corrected rather than quietly sitting there.
The same cards can arrive in your first-week notes and your monthly brief, each with an Approve link. That link opens a page showing the one card and one button; pressing it publishes the detail and signs you in to your dashboard. Each link works once and expires after two weeks, so a link that says it was used or has expired changed nothing: the card is still on your dashboard if it is still undecided. Correct in the email opens your dashboard rather than deciding anything from the inbox.
