The Referral ExchangeFor attorneys

What is the Referral Exchange?

It is where California attorneys send matters to each other. You post or send a matter, the other attorney reviews it, and the two of you agree a fee division under CRPC 1.5.1 and sign it. It is free at every membership level, and the registry never takes any part of a fee.

The registry is the medium and nothing more. It does not choose who receives a matter, does not order the attorneys you see, and is not a lawyer referral service. Both sides are claimed, identity-verified attorneys.

The client's identity stays out of it until acceptance. What circulates first is a blind summary — enough to judge the work, not enough to identify anyone.
