Can I take my case down or delete it?
Yes, whenever you want, from your case page, and you do not have to give a reason. A case file is also deleted 90 days after it was filed, unless you have accepted an attorney's terms on it, so a file you forget about does not sit there for ever.
- Open your case.
- Choose to withdraw or delete it.
- Confirm. It stops being visible to anyone straight away.
An attorney who already read the file cannot be made to forget it, which is worth knowing before you file rather than after.
