Your caseIf you need a lawyer
How do I file a case?
Describe what happened in your own words, say roughly where and when, and add anything you have — up to 10 files, and a phone photo of a letter counts. It costs nothing and takes a few minutes. You can come back and change it afterwards.
- Say what kind of problem it is and where you are.
- Describe what happened. Plain words are fine; nobody expects legal terms.
- Add any documents or photos, then confirm your email so you can get back into the file.
Filing does not create an attorney-client relationship and nothing you write is confidential or privileged. Say enough to explain the problem; keep the rest until somebody has agreed to act for you.
